BYTe - theBROADWAY Youth Theatre
Welcome to BYTe, theBROADWAY's home of local youth creativity. BYTe members meet once a week during term-time to learn all kinds of drama skills, work on scripts, productions, special projects and make lots of new friends too!
BYTe is divided by age range into 5 groups who meet once a week on Saturdays or Tuesday evenings. We have 3 groups of 'Juniors' (6 - 13 yrs), and 2 groups of 'Seniors'
(14 - 21 yrs). The Juniors and Seniors each work towards one main-house show per year, with regular end-of-term sharings, and the opportunity to participate in regular holiday projects.
Being a member of BYTe requires the commitment and dedication to attend the weekly sessions and extra rehearsals and events as arranged. In return for this dedication we will provide you with exciting opportunities to stretch your creative muscles and learn new skills.
Entry to BYTe is by audition and open auditions are held twice a year. In between these times, BYTe maintains a waiting list, and everyone on this list is invited to attend each new set of auditions.
